Arnbo follows a data-minimisation approach: keep as little as possible, for as short a period as reasonably necessary.
Submitted documents, images and text
Arnbo does not intentionally store uploaded documents, images or pasted text in a permanent Arnbo database. Content is processed for the current request and is not currently added to a user history, document library or account archive.
AI provider processing
Submitted content is sent to the OpenAI API to generate an explanation. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for service delivery and abuse monitoring unless a qualifying zero-data-retention arrangement applies.
Technical and security records
Hosting and infrastructure providers may generate limited technical logs, such as request times, error information, IP-related security information or performance metadata. Arnbo does not intentionally log the full contents of user documents for troubleshooting. Where Arnbo controls retention, technical records should be kept only as long as needed for security, reliability and investigation, and reviewed regularly.
Support and privacy correspondence
Emails or support records may be retained for up to 12 months after the matter is closed where reasonably necessary to manage the request, demonstrate what was agreed, or handle a complaint. Records may be kept longer where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Future features
If Arnbo later introduces saved history, accounts, subscriptions or cloud document storage, Arnbo will not silently apply permanent storage. The Privacy Policy and this statement will be updated first, and users will be told what is stored and for how long.
Retention principle
Arnbo's default position is: do not permanently store a user's document unless there is a clear product need, a lawful basis, appropriate security, and a defined retention period.
